UNM Alumni Lettermen's Association Reunions

Wrestling Reunion

Bob Kelly, former UNM wrestler worked with the Alumni Lettermen's Association in organizing and hosting the first ever UNM Men's Wrestling Reunion. Over 50 men from around the country came to Albuquerque and participated in a sundry of events. In all, most of the activities were sponsored or underwritten by various wrestling lettermen. There were a number of successful events held throughout the weekend. Well attended was a golf tournament, a tailgate party, a special football field presentation, a social held in conjunction with the Alumni Lettermen's Annual Homecoming Social and a post wrestling party after the football game. All living former coaches attended the reunion and were happily reunited with many of their wrestlers.

Tennis Reunion - 2007

September 6-8, 2007

The Lettermen's Association and UNM Tennis Coaches Alan Dils and Kathy Kolankiewicz planned, organized and hosted a Men's and Women's Tennis reunion that was held the week of the NMSU football game. Forty two members from both teams returned to the UNM campus to participate in a myriad of activities. Activities included golfing at a local resort, a dinner at the Pete McDavid Lounge, attending the UNM Soccer game, playing in the tennis tie-breaker tournament at the UNM Tennis Complex, participating in festivities at the alumni lettermen's tailgate prior to the NMSU football game and a special football presentation of all the returning alumni lettermen. In addition, the reunion also benefited the Men's and Women's tennis funds with over $1,700.00 raised in donations.
